About FoodPLUS Detroit
FoodPLUS Detroit is a networked innovation coalition established to facilitate and accelerate implementation of innovative food, agriculture and related resources projects. The design of our implementation method is based on proven domestic and international models. Our approach is a project-based, coherent and strategic integration of multi-stakeholder engagement and co-creation, participatory research and action learning, knowledge and resource sharing, and innovation in urban food systems and productivity supported by a technology-enabled platform. This implementation approach is a key FoodPLUS differentiator and is foundational to the added value we bring to this important body of local work with global implications. Our strategic approach is also complementary to and supportive of the Detroit Future City Strategic Framework five planning elements, Transformative Ideas and Implementation Strategies and Actions.
